Three trophies were presented to our team members from Premier Logistics who attended the Niche Business Awards. It was held at Athena on Friday, September 8, 2023.
As a family-run logistics firm, we’re extremely proud to have won the Best Family Business category. Additionally, we were also thrilled to be called to the stage to accept the Best Large Business award.
Lee Christopher, our Managing Director, said: “Being recognised as one of the best large, family-run businesses is a testament to all that we’ve tried to do with our company. We want all our employees to feel at home and happy here, which is what has helped us win Best Large and Best Family Business.”
Judges commended us for adding value to the local economy, efficient family-run operations, and dedication to employee development.
Lastly, Client Relationship Manager Macauley Christopher was called to the stage, winning the Rising Star award.
Macauley worked his way up from washing trucks at the age of 16 for Premier Logistics, which is owned and run by his dad Lee Christopher. He became Client Relationship Manager last year.
“I’m proud of my son Macauley. I was lucky enough that he showed a huge interest in my work and the industry from a young age. I’ve watched him eagerly develop his skillset through his various positions in the business,” Lee added.
